Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she trains athletes. Annie is the only woman to take home the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter who is also an avid CrossFit athlete and celebrity journalist. She has gained fame for being the sole woman who has ever won the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 and 2017, she won her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik along with her parents and siblings. She enjoyed playing sports and began working out at the age of five. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She stands at 5' 7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started CrossFit back in California. She was able to perform quite well through the first couple of competitions. Annie was ranked among in the top 10 among over 70. She did not take home an award and ended with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second and took home the silver medal same year. Following that she was a participant at CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performance. She was the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a trainer and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie became a celebrity athlete following her recognition. She's worked on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" and has more than a thousand followers. The channel is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and traveling.
